We attended NEAF 2016 in April. We definitely know how late this blog post is - it's been over 6 months since our trip to the States. It's just that we never got around to writing about it. But it's time we sat down for a bit and told you our story. It's a pretty interesting one. We're also posting this to give our readers a good idea of what the biggest astronomy show in the US is like and whether it's worth going (it is!).
‘Tis the season… to go out and be dazzled by the night sky! The holidays mean that our moods are high, and we’re eager to go out and spend a night under the stars.
We love theme nights and Christmas just seems like the perfect time to look at the sky. (Living in Australia means we get to enjoy a warm night out, too.) This is also a great time to spend with your family, as these constellations are all beautiful and easy to identify, thus quite interesting to show to younger family members.Continue reading →
